• Before dawn each day, Sunrise Journeys tells the story of three Anangu artists and their deep connection to Country through flowing lights and projections, culminating in the first rays of the sun shining on Uluru from a perfectly positioned platform.
• The light show reflects a painting by the three artists, titled ‘Our Country is Truly Beautiful,’ which captures their connection to the land, and this artwork is also displayed at the Gallery of Central Australia.
• As the red earth awakens under the rising sun, Indigenous iconography, similar to those found in dot paintings, gracefully flows across the land creating a profound visual and cultural connection with Country.
