Trevor gets to explore the Berkley River aboard the Reef Prince. This is one of those places that’s so remote that makes it a true Bucket list destination for many travellers.

• The Reef Prince ventures into the remote and majestic Berkeley River, accessible only on a high tide — a hidden world of red cliffs, winding bends, and cascading waterfalls.
• Guests cruise the full length of the river before switching to tender boats to explore secluded falls, including one named after legendary explorer and crocodile expert Malcolm Douglas.
• A refreshing dip in freshwater rock pools marks a serene stop, where the confluence of salt and fresh water also makes for top barramundi fishing.
• Guided by Leeuwin Prince, guests tried their luck using surface lures and trolling — but while the elusive barramundi escaped capture, the thrill of the chase was unforgettable.
• The day ends with a sense of adventure and awe, as guests reflect on their time in one of the Kimberley’s most extraordinary and untouched environments.
