Green Tea Therapy

Story Title: Green Tea Therapy
TX Date: Nov 4th 2018
Presenter: Christina Morrissy

Turning away from the conventional concept of a tea shop, Tea Therapy offers not only healthy home-brewed tea, but also a truly relaxing foot bath experience.

  • Lodged in a traditional Korean house known as a Hanok, this unique tea shop is a little off the tourist track, but well worth a visit. The tea baristas are qualified natural therapists who have a passion for good health, and the ancient art of Tea Therapy.
  • Herbal teas have long been part of Korean culture, and even today remain an important aspect of maintaining health and warding off illness. The Tea Therapy philosophy is to enjoy, relax, feel your body and listen to your heart.
  • Each day, Tea Therapy serves up two special house blends, each with specific health benefits. You can however choose to have a one on one tea consultation with the shop owner, Mrs Lee. With teas being able to treat almost every ailment, ranging from shoulder pain to kidney function, you should be able to find something that suits your needs.
  • Drinking your tea is not the only way to receive its benefits – Tea Therapy offers a foot bath experience. All you have to do is select a tea based on your own needs, and add it to the piping hot water.
