A massive part of stampede is music, country music, you can hear it in the background, it’s everywhere here and they love it. It immerses you in this warm sense of fun. You can imagine what happens when you put a guy like Trev on stage here behind us in front of 3,000 cowboys and cowgirls.

• Trev and Nige visit an ambassador for the stampede who’s a rising country music star, Trevor Panczak. They head to the stage where it all started for Trevor in 1998, when his father entered him in the Youth Talent Showdown.
• The purpose of the Stampede Talent Search program is to showcase young amateur entertainers and has often been the first to shine the spotlight on talented youth.
• Trevor was a second-place finalist that year and then in 1999 he won the contest.
• This ignited a passion in Trevor for the stampede, becoming an ambassador for the event; the Stampede Talent Search continues to help and encourage young entertainers to discover and develop, and showcase their talents.
