Cross Country Skiing

A favourite past time in Canada is Cross Country Skiing and Chrissy decides to give it a go. Once she’s figured out how to clip her boot in, it’s not as hard as she imagined.

She chooses a fantastic place called the Marmot Meadows, where all the locals come. Cross Country Skiing is also one of the most popular sports at the Winter Olympics as it’s a great way to keep fit and have fun. Enjoy skiing for a good 6 months of the year. Feel the burn as you glide through the countryside, getting out there going up and down hills and through forests.

Try it out for yourself quite easily by hiring some skis from the local ski shop and with a spot like this to learn in, cross country skiing really is a must do when staying in Jasper.
