Trevor explores Norfolk Island by foot, taking one of the most scenic and historic hikes on the island. Norfolk Island is truly the perfect year-round hiking destination.
- There are several stunning hiking tracks on the island to choose from, each adhering to different levels of fitness.
- The Bridle Track is an easy to moderate walk with some steep sections.
- The Bridle Track begins at Captain Cook Monument overlooking Duncan Bay. Here visitors can appreciate the spectacular views of the coastline and islets.
- The Bridle Track takes hikers around the coastal edge through Norfolk Island pines, white oaks and coastal vegetation.
- Nikau Palms are native to New Zealand and thrive in temperate weather. The Nikau palm is also found on Norfolk Island.
- The Botanical Gardens are part of Norfolk Island’s National Park. Here visitors can stroll along the boardwalk trail and immerse themselves in a subtropical rainforest.
