Churchill Town

One of the most amazing creatures on the planet would have to be the Polar Bear and Churchill in Canada is one of the best places to see them in the World.

Before the team get to that stage, they begin their journey at the Assiniboine Park Zoo in Winnipeg. The work they do here to save these amazing creatures and their journey to Churchill exhibit is amazing.

The aim for Assiniboine Zoo is to captivate and educate people in order to raise more support to help to save these bears. The work they are doing for the conservation of the Polar Bear is outstanding. It’s a great way to get some background into the environment experienced in Churchill, while visitors get as close as they’ll ever want to be to a Polar Bear.

Whilst Churchill’s modern history dates back to the 17th century, its ancient history goes back at least two and a half thousand years, with people moving through these lands hunting and fishing. This really is an amazing place that you just have to check out for yourself.
