Trevor begins his 15-day journey on the ‘Trade Routes of the Middle Ages’ aboard the Viking Venus in Bergen, Norway.

- Bergen was the birthplace of the renowned composer Edvard Grieg, famous for creating some of the greatest music of the 19th century.
- A visit to Troldhaugen, which was his home for 22 years where he lived with his wife, is an emotional experience that allows for a deeper understanding of the man and his inspiration.
- Explore the picturesque countryside of Bergen and visit Ovre Eide Farm, a historic farm dating back to the 1500s, currently operated by the fifth generation of the Ovre Eide family.
- Immerse yourself in the farm's rich history and learn about local heritage while indulging in traditional Norwegian delicacies such as pastries with berries and cream, and almond pralines.
- Take some time to familiarize yourself with the renowned Dale sweaters, known for their comfort and ability to keep you warm on even the coldest days.
- All Viking Ocean ships are Norwegian-flagged and registered in Bergen, offering you the opportunity to dock at the prime location of Bryggen wharf, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
