Elephant Hills Trekking

Elephant Hills Trekking

The contrast of the limestone cliffs and green water at Khao Sok National Park is an absolutely breathtaking site to see from the water but the best way to experience the park is to actually trek through the jungle.

A rainforest needs plenty of water and Khao Sok National Park gets a whopping three and a half meters of rain a year to maintain its diverse range of lush, green plant life.

Explore the heart of the jungle in the Khao Sok National Park and look out for the wildlife that surrounds you. Elephant Hills are conducting research to find out what really is out there. By developing motion censored infrared technology, their cameras capture vision into the wildlife within the National Park and surrounding the camp.

Keep following the tracks and you may arrive at The Diamond Cave. These caves are an important part of the Khao Sok history. The caves were used in the 60’s and 70’s during the communist revolution when students were driven out of the cities and into Khao Sok, where they lived in these caves.

Experience a whole new dimension of the rainforest when visiting Khao Sok National Park and follow the trails and get the full understanding of this pristine rainforest.
