Trevor ventures to Downpatrick Head, a stunning headland on County Mayo's northwest coast.
- One can experience the exhilaration of a coastal trek and witness the site of a former church founded by St Patrick at Downpatrick Head in County Mayo.
- A holy well and stone cross can be found at this location.
- According to legend, St Patrick struck the ground with his staff, causing the sea stack, Dún Briste, to break away from the mainland.
- While the church is no longer standing, visitors can still see the ruins of a 19th-century watchtower and a sea stack called Dún Briste, which was separated from the headland by erosion in the 14th century.
- Visitors can enjoy stunning views of the sea stack and marvel at the colored rock formations.
- The Stags of Broadhaven, a group of rocky islands that protrude into the Atlantic Ocean, can be seen in the distance.
- Additionally, visitors can check out the incredible blowhole named Poll na Seantainne and spot sea birds such as puffins, kittiwakes, and cormorants that call this place home
