• Imagine a manned horse, a tether connected to that horse, and a person attached to the opposite end of the tether, standing on a long board at the water's edge. Then imagine the horse taking off! That is horse boarding
• Horse boarding began at Uprising Beach Resort because their speed boat broke down and they needed a way to bring supplies over to the resort
• It took off as a fun extreme sport for holiday makers to try
