The Snow Train

Every ski season, VIA Rail does a fantastic train journey from Vancouver to Edmonton to Jasper and Kamloops, which is the team’s next destination.

The snow train operates during the Ski season in between the major towns and provides the perfect platform for spectacular viewing in a relaxed and very comfortable setting.

Every station the train leaves is toasted with a glass of bubbly, which is fantastic! But the real highlight? The 12,972-foot monster called Mount Robson. It’s the largest mountain in the Columbian Mountain Range.

When it’s all too much and you need a sleep, the friendly staff transform your private sleep car into a comfortable bed and you gently rock to sleep by the trains gentle motion. How good is that!?

It’s hard to imagine anything better than taking in the spectacular views while tasting the beautiful food and drink. There is nothing like a great train ride and VIA Rail is definitely the way to go.
